Let’s face it working out sucks. I think I’ve grown this feeling of resentment because of all the forced training programs I had to do when I was playing basketball in university.
BUT if I didn’t get my ass to the gym my weight and mental health would be affected big time. For me personally the best motivation for the gym is my playlist.
Like a said before I’ve played basketball from a super young age and because of that I started listening to rap around the same time. Imagine little 8 year old me, driving to my game listening to “Grillz” by Nelly on my MP3 player. Classic.
The music I listen to really hasn’t changed since. Don’t get me wrong I do listen to other genres, but when it comes to getting pumped up and staying motivated at the gym this playlist really represents my inner Kanye West.
